“Resucitado en el Pueblo”: International commemoration of Archbishop Oscar Romero to be held in Venezuela
“Resucitado en el Pueblo” is an ecumenical event to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the assassination of Archbishop Oscar Romero and four church women by graduates of the notorious School of the Americas. Activists from throughout the Americas will gather in Venezuela--the only country in the hemisphere that refuses to send troops to the SOA-- to celebrate their lives and plan for a lasting peace in the region.
